Have you ever wondered what the iPhone OS 1 (The first iPhone ever) was like? Well if you clicked on this, that probably means that you want to know what the iPhone OS 1 was like. I mean how did people survive with a flip phone!
To really learn about this, let's go all the way back to January 9th 2007. This was the day when Steve Jobs (Co- Founder of Apple) presented the iPhone OS 1!

Yeah, that little thing is the first iPhone. It's hard to believe that was an iPhone. Now here comes the pricing(it's really funny), if you wanted to get an iPhone OS 1 with 4GB then it was $499 and if you wanted to get an iPhone OS 1 with 8GB then it was $599 (those were the only options)! Today you can get a iPhone 13 Mini which has 128GB for $699. Which one would you rather have, a phone that has 4GB or 128GB?
Now let's take a look at the features of the iPhone OS 1 (There isn't a lot) . This may sound kind of weird, but the iPhone OS 1 was the first smartphone ever to have touch screen, it was also the first phone to have the zoom-in and zoom-out feature, something that we use everyday! Another key feature that was different than other smartphones, was having a faster refresh rate.
Now if we take a look at the iPhone 13, there are a lot more features that are way better!

The iPhone 13 has a storage range from 128-512 gigabytes, and this one is the first iPhone to have an option of having 512 GB. It also has a Super Retina XDR display, that means the screen quality is super! I have an iPhone 13 and an iPhone 6 at home, i'll tell you one thing, there is a huge difference in the screens! There is the new A15 bionic chip, it's water resistant, it has way way way better cameras compared to the iPhone OS 1. There is so many differences between the iPhone OS 1 and the iPhone 13, I can't list them all! But if you want to, look into Apple's website to learn more about the iPhone 13.
That is practically what I have to say about the iPhone OS 1 and the iPhone 13, I wasn't even born when the first iPhone came out, so this was really fun and interesting learning about the iPhone OS 1. (I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT)
